My first born in the litter, the darkest puppy and the smaller of the 3 boys.
Named from "Alvin and the Chipmunks".
At 3.5weeks - Such a very sweet and cuddly boy, he will come and follow me, if im sitting he will climb into my lap. Alvin loves hugs. Such a cutie pie!
At 6weeks - Such a funny little man, he has a sense of humor and knows how to be everywhere you turn. Weighed in at 2.85kg and one of the smaller pups of the litter - thats ok because his personality is certain one the biggest!
BAXTER (Alvin) i would consider to be the clown of the litter - he is always good for a laugh and a very clever boy. He was the one to figure out how to open the puppy pen swing gate and we would find him following us around the house. You would look down at him and he would smile with his tail wagging. As you went to pick him up he would run and you would find yourself chasing him - cheeky monkey!
Interesting that he was the first born in the litter and the first sold puppy too - Ashley wanted him and had no second thoughts about the others.
I wish his owner Ashley the best of luck with him, i think im in for a lot of interesting storys about Baxter in the future!

At home with Baxter
Baxter was my 1st and only choice from the litter and I wouldn’t change a thing. Living with Baxter is like boarding at clown school - he always finds something to hilarious to do. From endlessly pushing a giant ball around the yard for hours to forgetting where the glass doors are in the house while frantically trying to escape the house with one of my niece’s toys.
I was warned that Baxter was something of a ninja before he arrived in QLD, escaping his puppy pen and stalking members of the family in complete silence. This certainly hasn’t changed, he has retained his fence climbing skills whilst gaining the ability to Army crawl through grass (straight after his bath, of course)… the grass isn’t long and a black dog does tend to stand out but we don’t tell him that.
Baxter was unfortunate enough to pick up a paralysis tick in his early months and had to have a holiday at the vets’ for 2 days. Luckily Baxter bounced back but not before a full body shave (which looked hilarious) and hasn’t looked back.
Baxter passed puppy school with flying colours and he is always a favorite at the dog park with his laid back attitude, endless stamina and is known as “the little black husky with the high pitched bark”. Baxter tends to spend as much time with the other humans at the park compared to the dogs and wonders back and forth just making sure everyone is behaving (and giving him a back scratch) and doesn’t mind sitting in on other dogs training sessions when food is involved.
Baxter is always calm, very person orientated, amazing with my nieces and nephews and loves to play. You can always tell when he is having a good time as he starts to run in circles barking and howling in typical lappie pitch. He loves any toy that is bigger than him, especially long pieces of rope. He enjoys the odd sneak next door to swim in the dam and enjoys chasing the birds away from their seed… just to go hide and wait for them to return. Baxter’s best friend is my brother’s boxer pup who is about the same age. These two get along so well, they usually have to be separated at 10pm just so they can go to bed.
Having Baxter has convinced my partner to start looking for a lappie of her own, as i continuously find her attempting to steal him for herself. Hopefully we can get one from the same breeder who gave us a lot of inside knowledge with this fluff ball of fun.
