Going Home
Onwards bound . . .
Email for Hu-mummy Katrina Jay 3rd September 2012. . .
I have heaps of photos – my sons said it is just like getting a new baby because I bore everyone with pictures of Annie.
Annie is going fantastically though not without some challenges to my other doggies, my tights, my slippers, the bathmat, etc the cats, the chickens. She is so clever – I am told I sound like a proud mother. We have been going to puppy class and she is learning very quickly to sit, drop, come etc. She has met some other new puppies. They are a group that are not fully immunised yet so it is only pretty small. we are still having some interesting times when I have her on the lead. I have the lead but she loves to take it in her mouth and thinks she is walking me.
Annie discovered the dam last weekend when it was about -1 at 9am in the morning. She was madly chasing some ducks and kept following when they took to the dam. She got such a shock when the ground disappeared under her. I thought I would have to go in after her as she went right under. She quickly realised she needed to turn around and bounded up and down off the bottom rather than swam her way back. Anyway I don’t think the cold bothered her but the depth of the water did. She is more careful around the dam. I do walk her round it most days to just ensure she gets round Ok without going in.
She is the most amazing company and never leaves my side when I am home. We are gardening or cleaning or just hanging out by the fire. There is still some tension and rivalry with the other dogs. Annie tries to herd them a lot. When she just runs and plays they are all fine. She is brilliant in the garden and digs with me in holes, she carries things round in her mouth but has not actually destroyed too many things we have planted. She is a bit like a wrecking ball when she is playing chasey with Bundy. So I have not got as many tulips with their heads on as I should have had. But they will grow again and her excitement is just hilarious.
She is just beautiful and so sweet and cuddly when she is tired. She loves affection and I adore her. She just smooches in and is such a gorgeous girl. She plays fetch with her ball and brings it back and puts it down. She can figure out most of the toys and things we have to trick her for getting dinner. My husband also really loves her and takes her out with him to the shed. She has been into a few things but is mostly just good company.
Annie is sleeping through and we find she wakes with the sun but that is Ok because we are both getting up then as well. Depending on what she has been doing she can crash pretty early in the evening. We have to not tire her out on the days of puppy class because she is pretty tired when she comes home and it is all a bit too much for her.
Thanks for the most gorgeous darling doggie that is our Annie.

A big strong girl last puppy born in the litter, looks very similar to her sisters Atta and Alice, just slightly darker - reminds me of her mother Raiven, and i think she will look just like her.
Named after Princess Anastasia (Disney Movie).
At 3.5wks old - one of my more active and playful girls, she likes to talk and loves attention, adventurous too. Loves being picked up and getting cuddled.
At 6weeks old - hello Miss Attitude! She loves to boss her siblings around, plays like a mad hatter with or without her siblings. Can voice her opinion quite well too! Cheeky girl!
ANNIE is a very playful girl, full of high spirits. Quite talkative and is also good at talking back! Still affectionate and a confident puppy. She has a real zest for life. Best of luck to her new family i think she will fit right in and be a wonderful companion.
