Temper was born in a repeat litter like our boy Grimm.
We were hoping for another boy, but it was this girl that fit the role.
When we were looking at names for our baby, i wanted something 'dark', similar to the name 'Grimm'.
Temper was a name derived from when you 'temper steel' to strengthen it.
Lance, the Sire to the litter, has been a favourite of mine since he was a puppy - such a beautiful head and body. Lance is the son of a famous old and deceased male from Europe, Lance van de Hoge Laer at Corsini (UK), who then is the son (line bred) of a classic male who i very much admire; R.E. Belg/Neth/Fr/Lux/Int Champion Grimm Van de Hoge Laer CQN - who makes numerous appearances in Belgian Shepherd history. Lance was the single puppy from the litter produced by a lovely bitch, Erlander DX Dakota who produced lovely dogs and is direct from European born parents; Sire Ndl Ch Djaegar Van De Lamar and Dam Aust Ch Grimmendans Xeres CD, ET (ImpBlg). Lance is still only a young male who has a lot of potential for the future.
Aria, the Dam of the litter, has made a very impressive list of results in the show ring, both in the Specialty ring as well as the All Breeds. With numerous class in Specialty show, Runner Up in Specialty Show, Multi bitch challenage at Specialty show and Best of Breed Tervueren and Runner Up Best Terveuren at Specialty show. Not to forget, multi class in show (all breeds) and Runner Up Best in Group (all breeds) .... wow lots of achievements here! Aria also displays a lovely friendly dispostion with everyone she meets. Aria is the daughter of a well achieved Sire Aust Ch. Erlander Faro who is a Runner Up in Specialty Show winner, from parents Sire Jch.KlCh. ATHOS Comme un Reve Noir, B.Tr (Imp. Cz.) and Dam Aust Ch. Erlander Bella Brianna CD ET (AI) and as you can see some beautiful well achieved and balanced Belgians! Aira's Dam is Chevy's Lucinda (Imp Nor) with lovely pedigree of European dogs, particularly her sire Multi Ch. Swan de la Prairiere De La Sommerau.
