We are very excited to announce this mating between two lovely Lappies!
The dad (sire) of this litter is Iilvari, an import from Finland and a gorgeous male of fabulous quality. Iilvari has achieved well in the showing down in VIC, also is a cuddly bear for his family. About Lilvari by Melissa Sparrow: When the opportunity arose to have Iilvari come to Victoria and stay with my family in the middle of 2014, I of course jumped at the opportunity. My family had no chance of resisting the Iilvari charm. The paw on your arm as you work on the computer, the head on your lap as you watch tv, the nudge of your arm for a cuddle or the unexpected lick when you are close by. Even our other lappies Kiira and Leevi accepted him as one of their own. When Lauren offered co-ownership of Iilvari it was an easy decision. Since living in Melbourne Iilvari has had some amazing achievements. Highlights have included: * Best of Breed and Runner Up Best in Group at the Deniliquin Show in 2015, known as the Border Challenge where Victoria and NSW battle it out in the show ring (entry of ~30 lappies). * Runner Up Best of Breed at the Vic Womens Show in 2015 (entry of ~20 lappies) * Passed Test one in Tracking in 2015. You can read more about Iilvari here. Our own girl, Raiven, has done extremely well in the show ring in NSW, ACT and VIC. But more importantly a real gem of a girl with people and other dogs. Raivens pedigree contains Finnish bloodlines and her grand-sire is from the very first litter born here in Australia!
