We competed in agility in Sydney the first weekend of September, the first time in 3yrs! Here are videos of our 2 runs, Cynder was such a good girl and gained a clear round in JDX. Lovely weekend spent at the Coffs Harbour Trial 20-21 September.
Cynder was on 'red bull' of some sort - totally crazy and going going going! We managed a Quali in Gambler Dog Excellent with a 3rd place (of 7). We also attempted two Rally-O courses and pulled two out of two Quali's both 3rd place (out of 13) Spent a weekend away up north at Alstonville to compete at Northern Rivers K9 Sports Club Agility Trials over 2nd and 3rd August. Weather was lovely Saturday then wet and cold on Sunday. Cynder worked well and obtained 3 Quali's overall on the weekend which is an awesome haul!
Results: Saturday - ADX = 3rd 600 (NQ), JDX = 2nd 600 Quali Sunday - ADX = 3rd 600 Quali, JDX = 2nd 600 Quali Another trip back up to QLD this time for the Agility Nationals.
Cynder worked her paws off competing, she did really well with multiple placings in Jumping Excellent (JDX) and Agility (AD), multiple quali cards and was a finalist for AD600 winning 3rd place!! For further results, videos and photo's check out Agility Nationals 2014 page. Cynder also completed her passes for her new title - Agility Dog (AD)!! This marks her 9th title gained!! Making her: RUBISS Aust Ch. Deviebelle Eldo Cynder AD JD GD SPD SD PT ET Spent the weekend 17-18th May 2014 at the Port Macquarie and Hastings Agility Trial with Cynder with some success! On Saturday Cynder obtained 1st place 600 in Agility Dog (AD) with a quali - very happy as it has always been so close before. On Sunday Cynder obtained another 1st place 600 in AD but no quali, also some great runs in Open and Excellent Jumping.
AD quali video HERE Cynder and i ventured down to Sydney 7th & 8th September and entered the two day trials held at Orchard Hills (Erskine Park). While we entered 4 trials, we didnt earn any passes but thoroughly enjoyed having a weekend together
'playing'. Cynder has been busy this year with her pregnancy and then the puppies that this marked the first trial for her for this year so far .... and with no training able to be untaken, i am very chuffed with how she handled and the tasks she was able to complete, there was only minor mistakes that we are sure to be able to trian more on soon. AD - one fault - missed contact on A-Frame GDX - not enough points and missed out on time SDX - knocked bar - finished with not enough points JDX - one fault What a year 2012 has been here at Toujour Kennel. So much has happened and to sum it up here is a list of our crew's achievements:
STORM - gained a Rally'O Novice pass and started her duties with Delta Therapy Dog program attending a local rehabilitation hospital CYNDER - gained her qualification for these titles; Gamblers Dog, Jumping Dog, Snooker Dog, Strategic Pairs Dog, Endurance Test and Pre-trial (herding). Not to mention a pass in Rally'O Novice. Cynder really pulled in the titles this year! RAIVEN - slowed down in the showing and went on to be a wonderful mother whelping her first litter and the first litter for our kennel. This was the Amour litter - which we have run on VALA her daughter (who curently is staying with friends of ours, Kim Garlic, in Sydney). VALA has been introduced to the show ring and has achieved a Baby Puppy in Group while she was in TAS handled by Ms Fay Harris. KOVU - gained his Australian Champion Title in the showring along the way achieving 4 class in group awards and a Runner Up Best in Group as well. Also in other sports Kovu has two qualification (passes) towards his Herding Test Title. SOCKS - gained her Herding Test Title and started earning some show points towards her Champion Title and while in the ring she achieved 2 class in group awards. NITRA - only just a new member to the team, will hopefully make her achievements next year. Overall our dogs have achieved 7 new titles and 6 additional quali's/passes towards future titles. September 8th & 9th Cynders' Saturday results: AD - one fault still placed 2nd in 600 won a sash and 8kg Advance GDX - DQ SPDX - clear round but went over time Cynders' Sunday results: SD - Quali and now TITLED!! JDX - one fault Let me announce: Aust Ch. Deviebelle Eldo Cynder JD GD SPD SD HT ET I thought it was about time a gave Raiven a go at Jumping Dog and so she was entered on Sunday. The weather was really hot and since Raiven hasnt had that much training recently due to having a litter i wasnt expecting too much. She did really well all things considered. I was happy she worked under distraction and followed me around the course. She had a fault and a refussal - but nothing some training cant fix - i look forward to trialling her more in future. After the Agility Nationals Cynder had accumulated enough quali's (qualifications) to be titled in Jumping Dog (JD) - with an extra qauli to spare and Strategic Pairs Dog (SPD). Let me annouce: RuBISS Aust. Ch. Deviebelle Eldo Cynder SPD JD GD HT - "Cynder" Cynder's name sure is getting bigger! Cynder's Results Thursday 14th June 2012 Agility: DQ Jumping: Quali and Titled!!!
